Rewriting My Story

Overcoming my childhood trauma is my story now.  Surviving years of molestation, psychological abuse, and bouts of severe depression took a toll on my well-being and almost cost me my life.  I coped by masking my trauma, and fear of "not being good enough!".  I spent years trying to prove my worth -- I filled in all of the "right" blanks for a successful life, according to what I thought others expected.  Get an education (check), get married to a man (check), have kids (check), and have a career (check).  I fit the mold that I thought validated my worth.

Yet, I was still unhappy and I broke down -- I needed to work through the trauma that was holding me back.  I worked hard and I am finally free to truly be authentic and loving myself.  I fill in the blanks for the life I choose now, and I am happier than I ever thought possible.

If any of my stories resonate with you, please reach out and let me help you start rewriting your story.
